These were released on May the 4th 2024, and they play the New Kyber Crystals version 2.0 that Disney released on that date. These Holocrons look different, too. See my comments below on compatibility with Version 1 Holocrons (1.0). PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NEED THE NEW HOLOCRONS (Version 2.0) TO READ THE NEW CRYSTAL VOICES. THE NEW VOICES WILL NOT PLAY ON YOUR OLD HOLOCRONS (Version 1.0). Condition is NEW ON EVERYTHING! Just telling you Now… These Holocrons play the Version 2 crystals, that have New Voices, and that will only play in Version 2 Hololcrons: with Palpatine, Ben Solo, Cal Kestis, Plo Koon, Luke Skywalker, General Grievous, Mace Windu, Asajj Ventress, Kylo Ren, Darth Bane, Darth Maul, Second Sister, Grand Inquisitor, Krin Dagbard, Orla Jareni, Indeera Stokes, Rey Skywalker, and Luminara Unduli. These 2.0 holocrons will play version 1 crystals, but I have found that the old crystals that you have play best on a version 1 holocron. These new holocrons are to play the new crystals, but sometimes they can be glitchy. There is some backward compatibility. So you need both versions to play your crystals. These new holocrons will not play crystals that have been modded with a handheld RFID reader. A good reason to have both holocrons.
